Just after midnight, Mercury turns retrograde, this time in Taurus. A slow, cautious and methodical sign by nature, Taurus is not a part of the zodiac where a sophisticated slickster like Mercury wants to hang out for too long without wanting to yawn.
Now imagine adding retrograde motion into the mix? You get the idea. S L O W! This reduction in life pace may be frustrating, especially if you have to be somewhere in a hurry or get important decisions made pronto.
On the other hand, it may give you a chance to take a step back from the frenetic craziness of 21st century life and catch your breath. Consider the next two weeks as a great opportunity to get back to basics when it comes to communications: that’s right, actually talking to people!
Mercury also rules gadgets and telecomms systems, which could get disrupted somehow over the next few weeks. Instead of moaning about your latest wi-fi outage or smart phone malfunction though, perhaps see this as an opportunity to go cold turkey with these occasionally anti-social, co-dependent devices and remember the joys of analogue?
The good news is that Mercury will re-enter Aries on April the 21st, when life should hot up again. For now though, enjoy smelling the flowers and taking things slow.
