The week begins with a Lunar Eclipse in Aquarius. Amplifying the effect of the Full Moon, this six monthly event will help bring about a shift in yours or other’s attitudes and feelings towards your role and/or membership within a certain group, community or society.
Coming off the back of Friday’s Jupiter-Pluto square, it is also an opportunity to let go of social conventions or relationship habits that may have been limiting your options or negatively impacting on your ability to make plans, promises or decisions. For a more in-depth breakdown of this event, visit my Eclipse Forecasts page.
Once everyone has had a chance to get over the shockwaves and drama of the Full Moon, the mood will turn decidedly more upbeat and playful.
On Thursday (10 Aug) Mercury moves to sextile Venus just after 10h03 BST, which should inject some wit and humour into conversations and generate plenty of feelgood energy within social interactions.
Later that night at around 22h30 BST, the Sun will sextile optimistic and expansive Jupiter, which should spell good news for career decisions and make meetings with VIPs or bosses first thing on go better than expected. Discussions or negotiations held now could turn into major deals or job offers by the end of the week, so make an effort to impress now.
Things get decidedly dreamy and romantic this weekend as Venus moves to trine Neptune on Saturday at 06h15 BST. Creativity, spirituality and love matters all flow so easily and naturally, that you’ll be convinced that the destiny (or the angels) are secretly at work, making things go your way.
On Sunday, Mercury will turns retrograde until the 5th of September, suggesting that you bite your tongue on any tendencies to criticise and look to the past for answers to any pressing questions or dilemmas.
However, a Sun-Saturn trine at 22h05 BST suggests that if you are prepared to admit to your mistakes and commit yourself to doing things better, then you can make great strides now, despite any potential setbacks or miscalculations.
