Valentine’s Day 2022 is set to be extra special thanks to some stunning cosmic weather that includes the first of two unions between Venus and Mars.
In their first get together since their near miss in December 2021, the planets of love, beauty and passion will finally come together in earthy Capricorn – just two days after V Day. However, they will already be in orb on February the 14th, which should help to fan the flames of ardour and bring star crossed lovers together.
As if that weren’t enough, the greater benefic, Jupiter, will make a stimulating sextile to exciting Uranus on Friday the 18th, helping to create an atmosphere in which wonderful surprises and sudden but positive progress is possible.
Some of you may remember that these three planets were constellating close to each other around the time of the December 2021 solar eclipse: Venus and Mars, separated by approximately 60 degrees, with Jupiter squaring them from the late Aquarius. However, before Venus and Mars could perfect their sextile, Venus turned retrograde, Mars accelerated forwards into freedom-loving Sagittarius, and Jupiter changed signs.

Now, however, thanks to that very same retrograde spell, the two masculine and feminine astrological counterparts are set to meet – not just once but twice – and in two different signs, thus giving all zodiac signs a chance to bask in the glow of their love-in.
As already mentioned, the first conjunction is set to occur in Capricorn – great for earth and water signs; while the second takes place in early March, this time in Aquarius, giving air and fire signs their chance to benefit from the good vibes.
The last time we had a conjunction of this sort was back in July 2021 when Venus and Mars came together in fiery Leo, so these two planets are nothing if not fair in terms of spreading their magic equally across all the triplicities.
Conjunctions blend or combine the energies of both planets (both good and bad) making it a neutral aspect. However, it’s hard not to think of The Lovers card in the Tarot deck, which brings together Adam and Eve (microcosm), and heaven and earth (macrocosm) via the divine intervention of the Archangel Raphael, the angel of healing, magic and the element of air, which rules the heart chakra.
The upshot: lots to look forward to between now and April 2022, both romantically and creatively. Happy V-Day!
