We close the month with a second Full Moon in Aquarius, this time in the final degrees of the sign of humanity. And in many ways, it is likely to feel like the end of a cycle or era, both personally and socially. Thanks to a very interesting Sabian symbol, which keys into themes such as memory, grace, beauty and the constants in life, we are also being invited to contemplate that famous line from Keat’s ‘Ode on a Grecian Urn’: Beauty is Truth, Truth Beauty—that is all ye know on earth, and all ye need to know.”
And yet, with the Moon making a conjunction to expansive and upbeat Jupiter, it’s likely that there’s a lot to be thankful for. Gratitude and open-heartedness are all being encouraged by this full moon, which combines the warmth and generosity of Leo with the spirit of tolerance and community of Aquarius. Falling back in love with your life is just one of the ways this could manifest. This is all about taking that frequency of abundance and radiating it from the heart into the world by connecting with others in a loving, compassionate and joyful way.
With Mercury, Mars and Uranus all prominent, thanks to a series of positive aspects before, during and afterwards, there’s also plenty of scope for making quantum leaps forward – at speed! Direct communication, express packages, expedited travel and unexpected messages or insights are all possible now. Expressing yourself clearly, or understanding your own (or someone elses’) love language better is also possible between now the next two weeks of the waning moon cycle, as is making (or re-establishing) contact with the ‘friend in the heart’ – the inner guide, represented by Hermes Trismegistus and the Angel Gabriel in the alchemical and Sufi traditions.
However, with Uranus currently retrograde and returning into the mouth of Cetus the Whale, don’t be surprised if you feel a little bit emotionally overwhelmed. The image of the tidal wave came to me earlier in the week, and it certainly has proven to be extremely portentious – the amount of information streaming in from the spiritual dimensions has felt a bit like a tsunami. Equally though, the opening of the floodgates of emotion may also be triggered by subconscious contents welling up to the surface that need to felt and released; or the return of a slightly messy or uncomfortable situation or dynamic from the recent past, possibly taking us by surprise.
All in all though, this is a brief but powerful sturgeon moon – one that will certainly pack a punch. Whatever happens, we’re being asked to have faith in the essential goodness of the universe and trust that everything is going to work out in the end. By listening to the whispers of your heart, and opening yourself back up to the world (which may involve a leap into the void), you’ll find yourself in a far more soulful and connected place than before.
